Share in the future
In January 2004, the Diocese of the Armenian Church of America (Eastern) purchased 65-acres of property in Upstate New York just outside of Albany. This beautifully
scenic property which sits on the edge of the famed Catskills Mountains, is now the permanent home to the St. Vartan Camp program and to many other groups, programs and events both within and outside of the Armenian Community. Thanks to the diligent efforts of the dedicated Board of Directors, the Ararat Center mortgage was burned in January 2009. Just five years after purchasing this facility, the Ararat Center is ours to enjoy free and clear. We are now able to share in the future.
However, to ensure that the future is secure
for generations to come, we are now turning our attention to building a solid endowment
fund of $1.5 million. The annual interest
generated will be used to maintain and upgrade the Ararat Center. Please consider donating
towards the Ararat Center Endowment for the benefit of this facility and its future. All monies will be invested in the Armenian Church Endowment Fund (ACEF).
